Who should be Thailand’s persons of the year 2009?

Pursuant to TIME magazine published on December 2009 has had an outstanding issue with respect to “TIME’s Persons of the year” that selected from persons in several field of work around the world.

In my opinion, we should have Thailand’s persons of the year 2009, and I have already selected 3 persons from three fields of work as follows;

Worajed and his academic life

The First of all, Assoc.Dr.Worajed Parkeeratana, Thammasat’s Public law lecturer, showed his great courage to criticize Council for Democratic Reform under Constitutional Monarchy (“CDRM”) for a recently coup d’état, and he also released a lot of statements together with four lecturers concerning unlawful situation in Thailand.

Bundit and London Philharmonic Orchestra.

The second, Bundit Ungrangsee, a highly sought-after international conductor, is my inspiration to practice my skill. He said “you should practice more and more” and “you have only one bullet, so you have only one chance”.

Boyd and his daughter "Jai- Dee"

The last one is Boyd cheewin Kosiyabong who composes a lot of romantic songs. He is also called “the God Father of Love Songs”. This year we have listened to many songs composed by Boyd, especially, “Boyd-Pod” and “Boyd-Nop” Project produced with Pod – Thannachai ujjin and Nop Ponchamni.
